End of Term One!

Wow! What a lot of learning that has happened in Room 12 over Term 1. 
We have had a good introduction to the Carterton School Inquiry Learning Model and we will be using this more in Term 2!
Have a fantastic holiday everyone and don't forget that school starts again on Monday 5th May!  See you then! 

Lost Property

Make sure you go and check the school lost property by Room 4.  What is not collected by the end of the term goes to the Salvation Army.

Please remember to name all of your school uniform items and school items clearly so we can return them to the correct student when they are found.  A lot of the lost property is not named.

Goodbye to India

On Friday 4th April we are saying 'Goodbye' to India as she is leaving to go to Greytown School.
We are having a shared lunch to say goodbye and to celebrate the friendships she has made and her time at Carterton School. 

All the best India for your future at Greytown School, you will be missed and we will see you around.
 

It's not ok to miss a day poster competition

Congratulations to Ashley Lowe who won the poster competition.  She won a tablet for the school and a basket of goodies for herself.  Her poster is now the Wairarapa wide campaign poster.

Movin March

Movin March - We decorated the gate, walked to school with a walking school bus, decorated shoes and scooters.  Had Jack the Kaka visit our assembly! What a busy week!

Camp Mangapari

We had a fantastic camp at Camp Mangapari! Well done Year 7 and 8's.

Welcome to Mrs Butler

Today Room 12 welcomed Mrs Butler for the next 7 weeks.  She is training to be a teacher through Victoria University.  We hope she learns a lot from us as she prepares for her own class in 2015.
