Holiday Homework


Bring something special (smallish- that will sit on a shared table top) from somewhere special that you visited or from something you did in the holidays.
e.g. stone from grandma's garden, holiday photo, ...

Term Rewards

On Thursday we had extra playtime at afternoon break for the whole school , this was a reward for following our school rules and showing the 3Rs!  Well done Room 12!

On Friday we had our end of term Assembly and these students from Room 12 were recognised for their achievements:

Room 12 Student of the Term = Michael Hobbs  (a copy of his certificate will be posted on the Student of the Term pages)

Board of Trustees Student of the Term = William Renall

Jump Jam Team = Rosalie, Ashley, Leana, Holly 

Team Kahikatea had an end of term hui and Leana won draw for showing Respect, Mana and Manaaki - She won a Warehouse voucher.  Several others won smaller prizes.  Congratulations!

End of Term

Have a wonderful two week break and I will see everyone back at school on the 13th October. (Remember pet day is the first Friday back which is a half day for the students)

We didn't get to do this today so we will go and do our part of Keep Carterton Beautiful from 12:35 to 1:30 tomorrow.  We will be picking up rubbish around the Kent Street area.  Come along and help if you are free. 

Tomorrow we have our end of term celebration (Celebrating the positive behaviour at Carterton school) which is an extra long playtime and this will start at 1:30 and finish at 2.

Good luck to Ethan, Leana, William and Ashley who are going to the technology challenge tomorrow.

Today's events

The cake sale is on again today at morning tea.  Bring $1 for something yummy!  This is a fundraiser for Team Kawakawa.

The disco is on tonight from 7 until 9.  $2 to enter.  Food and fizzy for sale.  This is a fundraiser for Team Matai.

We will go and do our part of Keep Carterton Beautiful from 2 to 3 today.  We will be picking up rubbish around the Kent Street area.  Come along and help if you are free.

Hey to families and parents of school aged children, our Carterton school jump jam team are fundraising for their trip to regional comp in Nov! For some holiday fun for the kids, and a break for the parents, book your child in to our Holiday Hangout! Tuesday 7oct, 9-12 noon, only $10, our jump jam leaders will teach jump jam, do crafts, loom bands, nail art, te reo kori, poi and rakau, fun and interesting stuff!
